Musci in my yard?
Here is my project. I listen to music in my backyard with the following restrictions .. 1) No holes in the walls to run cables 2) some type of wireless interface is preferred so it can play audio from my PC. Im open and the iPod to move backward / forward and exit, but also for mobile phone 3) I find cheap outdoor speakers, but how can I get a decent and cheap amplifier Juice It Up? 4) Can I connect an iPod to a pair of bookshelf speakers? Will you be strong?
You can not connect the iPod to a pair of bookshelf speakers unless that speakers have a plug of their own that go into a store (highly unlikely – it would not be true then bookshelf speakers). The reason is that the Itsy-Bitsy "AMP" on your iPod is made to power the headphones, not speakers. You need an external power source such as an amplifier for your iPod to play through the speakers. The problem with no drilling through walls of wire is that your amp would then have to be outside. I do not know conventional amp security kept. Similarly, no device to receive wireless audio from your computer will not last long either. A very cheap solution, which degrades the audio quality, but still make audible, would be to buy an FM transmitter like this: http://www.ccrane.com/radios/fm-transmitters/fm-transmitter.aspx and just take a radio out in the yard. Send audio from your computer via the transmitter, which will make him a sign of local FM radio. Tune the radio the yard at the same frequency and viola! You have your own PC-radio station. No wires, no new amplifier, only his old crappy FM radio transmitter and the $ 70.
