This is for the placement of left and right front channel speakers with the same wall as the televison, compared to listeners and viewers.
Depends on the size of the room .. if you draw on speaker triangle L – Speaker R – (center seat sofa or the spectator), the distance triangle should be equal. This will help the Janke to achieve equal levels of sound to the ears of the two speakers. Anwer hope this help your question. You should do the same for the rear speakers if you have a 7.1 system as you are saying!
